New York, NY — June 1, 2025 — Melanie Long proudly announces the release of a bold and expansive debut album celebrating the rich and diverse legacy of American vocal music. This landmark project features works by 13 American composers, spanning the full spectrum of operatic and musical theater genres and eras — from early 20th-century classics to contemporary masterpieces.
The album offers a vibrant exploration of America’s dynamic storytelling through music, showcasing iconic and underrepresented voices alike. Each piece has been carefully selected to reflect the evolution of American stage music, highlighting the genre’s innovation, emotional depth, and cultural resonance.
A Unique Rollout Experience
Beginning this June 2025, a new single will be released each month, offering listeners a curated journey through the American repertoire. Each monthly release will be accompanied by exclusive behind-the-scenes content, artist commentary, and insights into the work and its composer.
The full album — featuring 14 tracks — will be released in January 2026, available across all major streaming platforms.
